Phew...September sneaked up on me and then we hit the ground running! Here are but a few updates from this busy month.
-Back to school for Hallie and Sawyer. We are both proud to be a part of Carolina Friends School this year. Sawyer is in the Butterflies with Shannon and me, and many friends. He really likes playing with Anaclaire and AJ and usually doesn't pay me much attention during the day.
-Eliza is talking non-stop now. She is also counting (1-9) and singing a lot. She currently loves Olivia books and even pretends to be Olivia sometimes.
-I'm very excited to say that Dave and I finally got away for a couple days SANS KIDS! With childcare and much generosity from Granddad and Grandmay we were able to visit Asheville, NC for 2 whole nights! We stayed at Sourwood Inn just up the mountain from downtown Asheville and it was beautiful. Relaxing, calming, good food, lots of time to talk and joke, and even a few quiet moments (which are rare for us) So it was wonderful. And the kids were fine so we're already planning our next getaway!
And September still has a lot to hold...

Yea for the weekend away!!! Sounds real nice. You know, we're due for a little Hallie/Dave/Sawyer/Eliza time pretty soon.
