Let's just put aside the fact that my kids became totally and completely obsessed with sugar this weekend. Let's not focus on their need to just get their next fix of refined sugar and artificial coloring. Rather, can we just for a moment pause and think about how there's not much cuter than a kid carrying a basket full of eggs? I love Easter. I remember being equally excited about the post-bedtime visits of the Easter Bunny as I was about that guy with the long beard and red suit. I even remember once seeing a giant Easter Bunny on my back deck on Boulder Lane. Was it a dream? I'm still not totally convinced that I imagined or dreamed it. I'm an Easter Basket snob too. I refuse to purchase a giant cellophane-wrapped basket 'o crap. I believe that a proper Easter basket must contain chocolate eggs of some kind, a plush bunny and something bought at A Southern Season. Of course, this morning as my kids were digging through their baskets, Sawyer (with a mouth full of chocolate) said that "there's not much cool toys in mine" Noted.
So Happy Easter and here are a couple pictures of my cuties donning Easter baskets and (fairly) clean clothes.

"Thank ya Easter Bunny! Brok-Brok!"
